Natalie Brejcha

Accomplished violist, violinist and fiddler, Natalie F. Brejcha regularly presents many different styles of music, ranging from traditional classical music all the way to American Folk, and new experimental sound works.  Described by the LA Times as “A bright eared, sensitive performer that seemed to breathe the air of other worlds.” She has spent much of the last 30 years dedicated to performing chamber music in small ensembles such as The Arroyo Ensemble, The Southland Ensemble and as a soloist. 

Natalie has performed and recorded with many popular artists including Elton John, Rod Stewart, Sarah McLachlan, Michael McDonald, Earth, Wind and Fire, and David Foster. She received her classical training in her hometown of Kansas City with a Bachelor of Music Performance Degree from the Conservatory of Music at University of Missouri-Kansas City and an Master of Fine Arts Degree from the California Institute of the Arts.

A passionate educator and Suzuki Violin and Viola teacher, Natalie has a studio of awesome students who love performing locally in both classical and fiddle settings.  Natalie is also currently on the faculty for the Los Angeles Suzuki Institute.

Natalie’s current passion is American Musical History and tracing her genealogy through the music being played in the area her ancestors lived. (Mostly the Mid-West US) Natalie has a daily instagram and Facebook series where she’s playing a fiddle tune each day this year.
